FIRST MEETING

The first meeting regarding the organization of the Deaf World Athletics Championships took place on July 31, 2019 in Radom. President of the Polish Association of Deaf Sports Wojciech Stempurski, Member of the Board Jarosław Janiec and President of the Radom Sports Club of the Deaf "Radomig" in Radom and Board Member Robert Marek met with the Director of the Chancellery of the President of Radom Mateusz Tyczyński and the Manager of the Sports Office of the City Hall in Radom Mirosław Paluch to talk about the possibility of organizing the World Championships in this center in 2020. The PZSN board familiarized itself with the infrastructure, accommodation base, the condition of the pitches and plans in the event of a positive decision regarding the organization. The opinion was positive, which contributed to further activities regarding the organization of the tournament.
