The board of the Polish Association of Deaf Sports announces that on October 22, 2019, at 12:26, it received an email from the International Committee of Deaf Sport.

The International Committee of Deaf Sports (ICSD) officially awarded the Polish Association of Deaf Sports the organization of the World Championships for Deaf Athletics, which will take place in Radom from July 18 - July 25, 2020.

ICSD's decision means that one of the most important athletic events for the Deaf in Poland and in the world will take place in Radom.
